Best Wakesurfing Drinks

Is there anything better than a cold, domestic beverage on a hot lake day? Here at Laurentide Wakesurf, we don’t think so. “What drink?”, you might be asking yourself, but we will outdo you. Below we will list our top three drinks for the boat while you are out wakesurfing.

White Claw

White Claws. The nectar of the gods some might say. Others call it a vegan Four Loko. We call it one of the most versatile drinks you can bring in your cooler. Guys love them, girls love them, and even our parents love them. Claws are tried and true; more importantly, they are something almost everyone can get behind. They’re fun. They aren’t going to knock your socks off, but they are easy to drink and maintain a healthy buzz with. In our eyes, you can’t go wrong with a case of White Claws.

And if that wasn’t enough, here is Trevor Wallace explaining how incredible White Claws are:

Happy Thursdays

Staying on the seltzer, fruity drink train we have Happy Thursdays. They were just introduced to us by our Gen Z coworkers who don’t like malt liquor. From what we can tell, they are new on the scene, and boy are they good. We would equate it to a Press Seltzer and a Sunny D having a baby. There is no carbonation, so they almost taste flat, but they have killer taste and flavors that will punch your tastebuds. These are a must-add to the drink rotation this summer.

Michelob Golden

You could plug and play any light beer (Bud Light, Modelo, Michelob Ultra, etc.) in this third category. We chose Michelob Golden (Mich Golden for locals), the official lake beer of Minnesota. Light beer will always have a place in our cooler. It’s great for drinking games because it’s so much cheaper than our other entries and it does just as good of a job at getting a little liquid courage rushing through you. The vibes are always high when light beers are in the mix.

Conclusion

Our cooler for this summer has White Claw, Happy Thursdays, and your favorite light beer in it this summer out wakesurfing. In addition to this, we always bring a pack of bottled water to stay hydrated. Nothing worse than someone drinking too much and ruining the surfing session for everyone else.

How’d we do on this list? Agree with what we have? Think we missed something? Let us know in the comments and we will include it in the future!
